The Villa of Theseus, which gets its name from a large circular mosaic depicting Theseus and the Minotaur, is the largest house (112m x 78m) of this period on Cyprus and may well be the proconsul’s residence, although it clearly post-dates the period of office of Sergius Paulus the proconsul of Acts.
